Hudson Valley Knights Basketball

The Hudson Valley Basketball Club (HVBC) is a nonprofit organization which provides Mid-Hudson youth with an opportunity to play competitive amateur basketball. The Club is a member of the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), and sponsors the Lady Knights basketball teams.

benefit basketball tournament

Nine girls from the Hudson Valley Knights Basketball Club 11 Silver team participated in a recent benefit basketball tournament. The girls who participated were (1st Row)Christina Iwaniw, Carly Spagnola, Jonnelly Sherwood, Caitlyn Mucha, (2nd Row) Katie Manz, Kelcie Timlin, Jackie Vanacone, Darlene Harrington and Brigitte Haug. The sponsoring club was the Future Stars AAU Club. We raised $ 2450. from the Oct. 6/7 tournament. All the proceeds will go to the Ursuline School fund for the families of the Ursuline parents killed in the WTC Attack on Sept. 11. There were two fathers that were killed as well as a young alumna with a young family.
