FAQ's
- Tryout information does not include my child's grade level ?
- If I do not see my child's grade level, can he/she tryout for the next higher level team?
- How can I become a Hudson Valley Knights coach?
We pride ourselves on being the "old school" way of youth sports. Volunteer coaches who know the game, and are not worried to give their time to their child and his/her teammates for a sports season! Our coaches find it a privilege to coach at a competitive level, with all the amenities of the Hudson Valley Knights and Golds Gym in Lagrange. The team would be fully insured, with a team shop for uniforms/gear, two practices a week (SPRING: March thru June and FALL: September - October). We also off Gold's elite training with professional trainers, TeamSnap for roster communication and organization, the support of the HV Knights board and President Mike O'Halloran, and over 30 years of AAU Knights history. If you feel you have a small core of players, and/or you are excited to coach competitive basketball, and like the sound of what we offer, please reach out to Mike O'Halloran at [email protected]. We are looking to grow and fill each grade level, but we will not rush and put together more teams, without committed, excited coaches to take the reigns.
- What is an AAU basketball season like? What are the costs?
- What about my younger child between the grades of 1-3?
The HV Knights will be offering a skills and drills clinic (run by Mike O'Halloran), each and every season of the year. This is the future of the Knights!! Be on the lookout for more information.
